When my beloved senior dog, Gizmo, was diagnosed with cancer in and around his rectum, I

wasn’t paralyzed with fear. For years, I had been treating a persistent tumor in that area with Bloodroot Salve, but it never fully disappeared. Now, the cancer had spread.
Most pet owners panic at such news. But after years of working with natural remedies, I knew cancer could be addressed—even after conventional medicine had given up. In both people and animals, countless cases have been successfully managed through dietary changes, targeted supplements, and natural compounds. One of the most promising tools I’ve found is fenbendazole.
Why Our Pets Face More Cancer Than Ever
Modern pets get cancer at rates similar to humans, largely due to environmental toxins and poor-quality commercial food. Many pet foods—yes, even pricey or vet-recommended brands—contain genetically modified ingredients, pesticide residues, antibiotics, chemical preservatives, and fillers. Animal by-products can include inedible parts, and sometimes even residues from euthanasia drugs.
On top of that, our pets are constantly exposed to household and yard chemicals—pesticides, floor cleaners, carpet treatments, and bedding materials that can contain formaldehyde. Over time, these exposures increase cancer risk.
The Foundation: Nutrition
Diet is the cornerstone of cancer care. Cancer feeds on sugar and thrives in high-carb environments, so removing wheat, rice, and starchy treats is critical. Instead, focus on high-protein, low-carb meals made with organic meats and cancer-fighting vegetables like spinach, broccoli, cauliflower, cabbage, and bok choy. Avoid carrots, fruits, and other high-carb produce.
For best results, aim for 75% quality meat and 25% vegetables—cooked or raw, depending on your dog’s preference.
Supportive Natural Therapies
Over the years, I tried several supportive remedies for Gizmo:
The Kelmun Protocol – A mixture of baking soda and maple syrup designed to smuggle alkalizing compounds into cancer cells, weakening them from within.
Bloodroot Salve – A topical herbal preparation that has long been used to target abnormal tissue growth.
CBD and Marijuana Oils – Anti-inflammatory, appetite-boosting, and pain-reducing properties, with potential anti-cancer benefits.
These approaches each brought their own benefits—but the real breakthrough came later.
Fenbendazole: A Game-Changer in Pet Cancer Care
In mid-2022, I learned about Fenbendazole, a common veterinary dewormer that has been making waves for its unexpected anti-cancer potential in both animals and humans. Reports suggest it works by disrupting cancer cell microtubules, interfering with their ability to multiply, while being safe for normal cells.
I began giving Gizmo Fenbendazole in carefully measured doses alongside his supportive regimen. The change was remarkable—the tumor finally began shrinking in a way I had never seen before. For the first time in years, it truly seemed like we were winning.
Unfortunately, age eventually caught up with him. At 17, Gizmo was battling blindness, difficulty walking, and congestive heart failure. Although the cancer was improving, his body was tired. When he let me know he was ready, I honored his wishes and helped him pass peacefully.
Why Consider Fenbendazole for Your Pet
Well-tolerated – Long history of safe use in veterinary medicine.
Low-cost – Much cheaper than most cancer treatments.
Promising research & testimonials – Many pet owners report significant improvement.
Works alongside other therapies – Can be part of a multi-pronged natural approach.
While Fenbendazole is not yet an officially approved cancer drug, its safety profile and growing success stories make it a compelling option to discuss with a holistic or open-minded veterinarian.
Moving Forward
Losing Gizmo was heartbreaking, but I’m grateful for the extra time we had. I believe Fenbendazole played a key role in slowing his cancer’s progress and improving his quality of life.
If your pet is facing cancer, I encourage you to explore all options—especially those with a track record of safety and positive results. A clean diet, reduced toxin exposure, supportive natural remedies, and Fenbendazole may give your furry friend a better chance at more happy, healthy days.
