Venus began retrograde on October 5. During that time, we have had to figure out what it
was that we really valued. We have been forced to look at our life realistically and decide if it is in alignment with our Soul. We have had to face our fears. Our money dried up and relationships changed. We let go of a lot of things – people, jobs, clothes, or homes. It has not been an easy time at all.
Now that Venus is moving direct again, we can take what we have learned and finally move forward. We have a good idea of what we really want, what our value is, who we value and who values us. Doors should begin to open once again. Money will hopefully begin to flow. Our relationships and friendships will improve.
There is an excitement to finally begin to act on our dreams.
This energy will be around for most of the day until Mercury begins its retrograde motion.
That can cause us to question everything we think we already figured out. We can feel very confused.
Don’t feel that all is lost. Take a step back and review your options. There is no hurry to make any decisions or moves. Be clear so that when the energy is right you can move forward.

Mercury Retrograde makes the holidays even more stressful. Thanksgiving is right in the middle of the energies, so family get-togethers will be interesting, to say the least. It will not be easy listening to Mom question us about why we aren’t married or haven’t produced a grandchild for her. Uncle John will be even more obnoxious than normal.
This is a good time to remember to take a deep breath and pull yourself back into the present before you respond or react. It will be up to each of us who know about these energies to do all we can to keep the holiday peaceful.
It is not a good idea to buy electronics until after Mercury goes direct on December 6. The last thing you want is a broken game or computer as a gift.
After December, the energies of Venus direct will catapult us forward and there will be much more pleasant energies for the next year and a half! At least that is something to look forward to!
